June 24, 2007 Night

I dreamt of my spirit guides. Finally! There was Arnulfo, the Portugese painter; Wynwyn, the newest girl guide, Hanuman, and the birdlike spirit---huge and black.

I'm happy to be connected with them and finally meeting them.

Calling All Philanthropists/TIG Members

To all TIG Members,

We are all philanthropists, the mere fact that we want to share our knowledge, our talent, our time, and our money to help others and in the process improving ourselves, we deserve this name. Anyway, ss I was doing my daily task of reading toolkits and resources for the youth, one of our members happened to see me online. His name is Kayiwa Fred. I believe he embodies the very issues that we like to discuss in our online discussions--like the MDGs and youth empowerment, education and health.

I have no knowledge of him prior to my membership of ABC4All. I just know very little of him but enough to make me realize that he too, needs the help, that other youth suffer from. To begin with, his mother died of AIDS when he was 5 years old, and so the stigma and the trauma are very much alive in him. With a typical patriarchal background, his father remarried and bore more children that he could support. Fred is left with a drunkard father who does not seem to care for him at all, or who seems to care more about himself. This, I think, is a cliche for most of: (1) poor, (2) partriarchal, and (3) unempowered soul. While on the hand, Fred tries to finish his schooling (he is currenlty a second year college accounting student) and grapples to survive malaria and asthma. He lives in Uganda in Africa, and having the pre-knowledge of that place, we know for a fact the kind of health system that his government can offer. His doctor asks him to pay $200 usd which he has none. He attempts to use alternative medicine offered by some Chinese herbalists but the price is also as staggering.

He's asked me to write this blog for him since he feels that his English is not that good enough. He wishes to ask for our kindness and hopes that some of us will be willing to help him in anyway that we can. His malady is serious and needs urgent attention.

I will attach his contact address and his tig messages to me (unedited and as is) if you wish to be of help to him. Please contact him directly. It is Fred who needs our help and not me.

June 20, 2007 Night

I went to this place, like an underground, only it could be seen from above, as if open. There was a guy, who looked like a craftsman but I knew he was an elemental. He was making something, a sword? I couldn't remember. The guy was kinda irritated. He had mustache and that he seemed to not like me. But anyway, he had an antique sofa or long chair which I liked a lot so I took it. I think I paid for it or thought it was really mine. Then I carried it as if it was featherweight. Then he sneered at me and I felt afraid of him but then he let me go.

Next scene, Red and his mom visited me. I was to go with them in the cemetery, which was actually my relative. I just went to the place but when I accompanied them roading the jeepney, we got lost several times. I could not seem to locate the right place. His mom, kindve raised her brows and I was embarrassed. Then I drove the jeepney (which was supposedly owned by Red and his mom). I could not feel the clutz and we almost hit another vehicle which was parked on the same side as ours. It was weird that it wasnt a car but a jeepney and I felt ashamed of having to volunteer to drive that.

I think this time, Red was with me, going back to the underground. There was a kind of box, where elementals leave gold bar. They gave me one and I realized it was because I could only get one gift from them. There was sand and I could see hands that had roots and not veins. They were playful and I thought they liked me, the small people. The old guy from before was observing me.

June 10, 2007 Night

In my dream, I saw my real mother, an Italian rich woman who looked like Isabelle Rossellini. It was dark and all and I was running towards my life. Like a thief, I got back all the jewels that were hidden under the clothings of this dead woman...I didnt know who she was. But her skin was bright and fair. Anyway, I kep on seeing the face of my real mom.

Outside my new home, with my newfound mom, Red was waiting outside the door with a bouquet of flowers and I was kindof expecting him. He was wearing a black longsleeves, silky cottony of some sort with red vertical fine lines and a pair of black pants.

Our house, my house, was dark pink with white details. It was like a victorian mansion house.

June 11, 2007 Night

There was a kind of ritual. An evil guy who looked like EM. He was a wizard and I was so scared of him. He seemed to eat human beings. Anyway, I got to this top of the building, or room, and I could see so many people lining up to be "blessed" by this guy. I knew he was evil and so I tried to escape from him. But he knew Id run away. He said, "those who want me, stay with me. Those who dislike me, stand up and leave." Without a doubt I stood up, with my friend Acel and he was looking at me. He knew I fear death. He smelled my fear. He could glide and orb. I knew I had the gift too but would not dare to do it in front of so many people.
